Nyjah Huston Returns to the Top and Chloe Covell Claims Victory at SLS Paris 2026

Paris, France, October 3, 2026 — Street League Skateboarding (SLS) returned to Stade Roland-Garros for the 2026 SLS Paris stop presented by Winamax, bringing the world’s best skateboarders back to the iconic venue for its second year. The event marked SLS’s third appearance in Paris, where one of the loudest crowds in Street League history welcomed the skaters with an energy that has made the city a favorite on the Championship Tour.

In the Women’s Final, Chloe Covell (AUS) combined confidence with precision to come out on top in a battle that went down to the end. An 8.5 run and an 8.5 in the single-trick section helped bring her winning total to 31.9. Coco Yoshizawa (JPN) landed a hurricane for an 8.2 to secure second with 31.5, finishing just 0.4 points behind Covell. Liz Akama (JPN) completed the podium in third with 30.5. Rayssa Leal (BRA) missed the final due to an injury.

“I could not land the nosegrind nollie flip to save my life in practice,” Covell said. “I’m really happy I got to pull it through in the end.”

The Men’s Final saw Nyjah Huston (USA) return to the top with his 28th SLS victory, adding another defining moment to a legacy built across 16 years of Street League Skateboarding. It had been 17 months since Huston last stood atop an SLS podium, but in Paris, he was back at his best.

Nyjah’s nollie heelflip noseblunt was his trick of the night, sparking the momentum that carried him to a winning total of 36.4 with no counting score below 8.9. Impressive performances from Vincent Milou, Chris Joslin and Ginwoo Onodera showed just how deep the talent in SLS has become, yet Huston found a way to separate himself with the consistency that has defined his career. Toa Sasaki (JPN) took second with 35.4, while Giovanni Vianna (BRA) rounded out the podium in third with 25.8.

The win meant even more given Huston’s reflections on how quickly the competition has evolved. He explained that tricks that would have earned a 9 a few years ago no longer carry the same score, and that even reaching a final today feels equivalent to winning one a few years back. Now just two wins away from his goal of 30, Huston spoke about what it means at this stage of his career.

“It’s something that I never want to end, but we’re getting to the tail end, so to get one of these is really special,” Huston said. “The motivation is the love of skateboarding. I love all sorts of skateboarding but I have that competitive side to me and that’s what really keeps me going.”

SLS Paris 2026 presented by Winamax may have delivered the loudest crowd Street League has ever heard. The fans at Roland-Garros erupted with every landed trick, giving a day of hard-earned wins and a legendary return to the top the love it deserved.

Next, the SLS Championship Tour heads to Ariake Arena in Tokyo, Japan on November 14, before rounding out the year with the Super Crown in São Paulo on December 12 and 13.
