Street League Skating 2024 flows onto the shores of Australia this weekend for the penultimate event before the Super Crown. The world’s best skaters tackle the Ken Rosewall arena, battling it out for guaranteed spots into the season finale in São Paulo.
Street League Skateboarding Schedule: Sydney 24
The action gets underway in Sydney at lunchtime on Saturday, 12 October. That’s 10:30 pm on Friday if you’re on the east coast. The curtain closes on the SLS Sydney series on Sunday afternoon after the men’s final.
SLS Competitors: Men
Two-time Olympic gold medalist Yuto Horigome headlines the men’s event. “Gomes” will face stiff competition from Nyjah Huston, who landed bronze at the recent Olympics.
Giovanni Vianna left the French capital disappointed, but he’s had a consistent year besides that. The Brazilian averages second in all events over the past two seasons.
Keep an eye on Portuguese star Gustavo Ribeiro. Like Vianna, he didn’t medal in Paris. However, he has consistently placed in SLS Street League skateboarding this year.

SLS Competitors: Women
Coco Yoshizawa graces Sydney with her presence after grinding to victory at the Olympic Games. The 14-year-old is new to the SLS, but she knows how to handle herself on the big stage.
Yumeka Oda showed she isn’t ready to hand her crown to Yoshizawa yet. Oda defeated Yoshizawa and Liz Akama to claim gold in the recent Japan Skateboarding Championships.
Rayssa Leal, the 2023 Super Crown Champion, is fighting to stay in the top 3, guaranteeing her a ticket to the final.
