Thank You, SLS Las Vegas!

The energy was electric on Saturday, October 25, as Thrill Sports’ Street League Skateboarding (SLS) brought its world-renowned SLS Takeover event to Las Vegas, transforming the lot outside the Las Vegas Convention Center into an epicenter of skate culture during ComplexCon. The one-day event blended high-octane competition, live music and festival vibes.

Drawing more than 5,000 fans comprised of both locals and tourists, the event marked the final stop for athletes to earn points ahead of the Super Crown Championship in Brazil. The world’s top street skaters went head-to-head in both the men’s and women’s divisions, delivering an unforgettable display of style and precision.

In the Women’s Division, Liz Akama took home the gold, with Rayssa Leal earning silver and Aoi Uemera rounding out the podium with bronze.

In the Men’s Division, Ginwoo Onodera claimed the top spot at just 15 years old, followed by Nyjah Huston in second and Vincent Milou in third, after a series of jaw-dropping tricks that kept the crowd on their feet.

Celebrities including Machine Gun Kelly, Holly Madison, Mod Sun, Mike Majlak, Gianni Paolo and other notable guests were spotted enjoying the event, taking photos with fans, and cheering on the competitors.

Adding to the adrenaline, Nitro Circus captivated the crowd with gravity-defying stunts and their signature daredevil performances. Fans also enjoyed live sets from rock bands Dead City and Trash Talk, browsed exclusive merch drops from major brands like WWE, shopped vintage finds and dug into bites from beloved Las Vegas eateries including Big B’s Texas BBQ, Lotus of Siam, and Prince Street Pizza.

The event not only delivered world-class competition but also cemented Street League Skateboarding as a powerful new addition to Las Vegas’ vibrant sports and entertainment scene.
